About Us

The OMB Federal Desktop Core Configuration (CSC) Service Center is a consulting and analysis service specifically designed to assist Federal agency chief information officers and their designates in implementing the March 2007 directives of The Executive Office of Management and Budget for securing Windows operating systems.

The OMB/FDCC Service Center is managed by John Brewer, former Microsoft project manager for the Air Force common security configuration effort after which the OMB Directive is modeled. The Center offers direct contract support to senior agency information officers and their designates in understanding and successfully navigating the assessment and implementation of NIST-approved Federal Desktop Core Configuration in compliance with the OMB Directive.

The OMB/FDCC Service Center operates within the Information Systems Technology Applications organization of The MayaTech Corporation, a leading research, technical assistance, and program operations support contractor serving the Federal marketplace for more than two decades.
